The PIE CYCLOPS part is a low voltage trigger device capable of producing a 12-Volt output, when triggered from a low level AC, DC, RCA, or a high level Audio/Video Signal input.
CYCLOPS can be connected in line with any RCA type Audio/Video connection, to a speaker level audio signal, and will also detect an AC Audio/Video signal. Whenever a low voltage signal is detected on such input, it provides a 12V output.
The CYCLOPS can be used to turn on an amplifier or monitor from various trigger inputs such as an OEM headunit amplifier turn on signal when the signal is too low to trigger an aftermarket amplifier (less than +12V).
