The AAI-CHY plugs into the back of the factory radio with VES or Satellite Radio option.
The AAI-CHY will emulate the factory VES by default.
- If the vehicle has both Satellite and VES, one of the devices will have to be disconnected in order for the AAI-CHY to work. The AAI-CHY will then emulate which ever device that is disconnected.
- If you are using a single disc radio (REF model), the factory Satellite (if available) must be disconnected. This radio has no option for VES, therefore the AAI-CHY can not emulate it.
The factory VES or Satellite are completely disabled if the AAI-CHY emulates it. DVD's and/or headphones can not be used.
