Now you can enjoy XM Satellite Radio right on your existing factory head unit on select Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. Plug this all-new adapter from Precision Interface Electronics into the rear 12-pin CD changer control port and you can interface with almost any combination of the following XM Satellite Radio tuners and CD changers from Pioneer Electronics:
Pioneer XM Satellite Radio Tuners: GEX-P900XM, GEX-FM903XM, GEX-P910XM, GEX-P920XM
Pioneer 6-Disc CD changers: CDX-P676, CDX-P680
Notes for CD changer installation:
Excluding the "RB1" (navigation) radio, all 2002-2004 models listed above are CD changer capable.
Notes for XM Satellite Radio installation:
Excluding the "RB1" (navigation) radio, only 2003-2004 models listed above are Satellite capable.
Radio models "RBB" and "RBK" will display "SA" and the channel number only.
Radio models "RBO", "RBU", "RAZ", and "RBQ" will display full text (channel name/number, artist & song title, etc.)
When hooking up both a Pioneer XM Satellite Radio tuner and a Pioneer CD changer, press the "MODE" button to select between the two devices.
Pioneer 910 model XM Satellite Radio receiver is only capable of fast forward and rewind in one channel increments.
This interface does not allow presets or direct channel access.
Pioneer XM Satellite Radio tuner, CD changer, or IP-Bus cables are not included.
