The X3-FRD/P2 is one of PIE's newest additions to our line of X3 harnesses, and is compatible with Ford vehicles (both CAN BUS and non-CAN BUS) that use the 16 and 24-pin (Phase 2) radio connectors.
The X3-FRD/P2 was specially designed to provide auxiliary input to the OEM radio while maintaining the factory CD Changer, Satellite radio, and NOW factory Rear Seat Entertainment.
The X3-FRD/P2 connects to the PIE X3 (brain module) and allows 3 auxiliary audio sources to be connected to the OEM radio. This two- piece interface will interrupt the audio of the CD Changer, Satellite Radio or RSE, switch. The X3-FRD/P2 harness will install behind the radio in-series with the factory 16-pin and 24-pin connector.
