This XM Direct Smart Adapter for General Motors vehicles will allow your GM satellite-ready radio to have the XM Satellite Radio service fully integrated into the unit. Once properly installed with the XMD1000 XM Tuner (sold separately) no other devices are required. The adapter and tuner are hidden behind your dash for a factory installed look and feel. You will be able to change channels, adjust volume, and set up presets with your existing satellite-ready General Motors factory radio.

Note - This XM Direct Smart Adapter will work in the listed vehicles that are equipped with specific GM Class II radios, with a "BAND" button. These radios are standard in some vehicles and optional in others. Some newer models not listed may apply. Check with your dealer to see if your vehicle is applicable as equipped. Not compatible with 2005 Chevy Malibu "LAN"-type GM radios.
