SKYFi & SKYFi2 Car Kit
Want to use your SKYFi or SKYFi2 receiver in the car, boat or motorcycle? This kit comes with everything you need for your vehicle.
This kit includes everything you need to use it with any FM Car Radio using a SKYFi2 SA10101 receiver (sold separately).
Included with this kit:
- SKYFi cradle
- Micro roof-mount magnetic antenna
- Swivel mount with adhesive
- Vent clip mount
- cassette tape adapter
- Power adapter for cigarette lighter
Using this kit with the SKYFi2 does not require the use of the included cassette adapter. If you will be using this kit with an original SKYFi SA50000/SA10000 and do not have a cassette player, you will need to add either of the various FM Modulators or auxilary audio input adapters that are available to run the audio from your original SKYFi to your vehicle's FM Radio.
Now WITH or WITHOUT SureConnect
Featuring the all new XM SureConnect. SureConnect is XM's answer for your FM modulators, providing the most superior reception and sound quality during FM transmission in the car or elsewhere. For further detailed instruction, see the SureConnect Install Guide and the SureConnect Coupler Guide.
Note: SureConnect receivers are ONLY compatible with SureConnect car kits. Receivers without SureConnect are ONLY compatible with car kits without SureConnect. Home kits ARE interchangeable.
Does my receiver have SureConnect?
There are a few ways you can tell if your receiver is a SureConnect receiver:
- SureConnect receivers and SureConnect car kits come in red and black packaging. Receivers and car kits WITHOUT SureConnect come in white blister packs
- You can also tell by the model number (located on the bottom of the receiver)
- Model: SA10101 are original receivers
- Model: SA10101B are SureConnect receivers
