The PowerConnect Car Kit features XM's new patent-pending PowerConnect FM transmitter technology. The PowerConnect setup utilizes your vehicles electrical system to transmit a strong wireless FM audio signal to your vehicles FM radio. Do-it-yourself installation is quick and easy requiring less wires and connections. Also included is an Aux-in cable for the direct connection to audio systems that feature audio input jacks.
Older compatible XM radios that featured the SureConnect FM modulator setup can now upgrade to this car kit. Using this new car kit will allow users to benefit from the PowerConnect FM setup, reducing interference and increasing audio quality with less wires.
