The VSM G3 is a vehicle specific mount that provides a platform for attaching mobile electronics onto a vehicle's dash or console. They are designed to fit a specific make and model vehicle and typically attach behind the dash trim bezel. The stainless steel bracket is strong yet discrete and will provide a professional fit for every installation.
The unique ball on the VSM G3 performs two functions: it is the point at which the interchangeable components are attached and it creates the joint which allows users to move, remove or reposition their electronics. Whether holding a smartphone, GPS unit, MP3 player, or a satellite radio, the interchangeable parts provide a mounting solution for most electronics. The smart design of the G3 allows the swapping of devices from car to car or removal of the device to avoid theft.
The G3 mount also includes free lifetime replacement. Once you have purchased and used a G3 mounting bracket, the manufactuer (Pro-Fit International) will provide you a *free replacement G3 mount for a new or different vehicle. There are no limits to the number of replacements under this program. You can replace mounts as often as you like. Just send your exsisting G3 mount to them along with the relpacement form and they will exchange it.

For this mount to be compatible with XM satellite radio receivers / docks that mount with the standard T-notch then you must use the Flush Mount Adapter
