Great for eliminating ground loop noise from radio pre-amp outputs, the SNI-1 also eliminates DC Current from your RCA cables and reduces most noise in your RCA signal path. Response is close to +/- .03 dB from 20-20kHz. The RCA pigtails are the inputs and must connect to the source unit. The RCA jacks on the interface is the output side. Unlike other 1:1 transformers, the SNI-1 utilizes proprietary audio transformers for a 1.3 dB gain.
Note: Some amplifiers need to see a reference ground on the RCA inputs. Connect the two brown wires to chassis ground, preferably to the chassis of the stereo. This is typical for old amplifiers made in the 80's and early 90's.
