For use with the iPAC-AFT, this harness connects your iPod to an Alpin Ai-net stereo. Set the dip switches on the box to: 3 & 6 ON in "iPod mode" and 3 & 8 ON in "Satellite mode". Set the remaining switches to: OFF.
Note: Requires the use of iPAC-AFT adapter. Radios must be Satellite ready or, in 2005 and newer radios, be equipped with "iPod mode" feature. Your radio will have either "XM Ready", "Sirius Ready", or "Sat Ready" printed on the faceplate. If your radio is Satellite ready and has the "iPod mode" feature, it's recommended using the iPAC-AFT in the "iPod mode". This will allow the use of an external device such as a Satellite receiver in conjunction with the iPAC-AFT and can provide greater functionality on your radio. If your radio does not have the "iPod mode", the iPAC-AFT will not work with any other external device such as a CD changer or Satellite tuner.
