Arkon's Cigarette Lighter Pedestal plugs into the 12v accessory outlet (cigarette lighter opening) in your car. The shaft of the pedestal is made of a unique metal that can bend into your desired directional placement. Though it is flexible, once you have bent it into place it will not bounce around as it remains stiff. This pedestal includes all the necessary adapters to work with the most XM and Sirius Satellite Radio Receivers that have a either the AMPS standard hole system or a t-slot on the back of the unit or cradle.
