XM Direct XMD1000 Universal Tuner
The XMD1000 is one part of a two part system that allows XM Satellite Radio service to be seamlessly installed into satellite radio ready car stereo head units.
The XMDirect XMD1000 Universal Tuner Box is the XM tuner needed to work with all XMDirect products. XMDirect Universal Tuner Box allows users to receive digital XM Satellite Radio directly through a satellite radio ready car stereo head unit. To complete the installation of an XMDirect system the Universal Tuner box XMD1000 must be installed with the an optional XMDirect Smart Digital Adapter for various models.

Mail-in rebate eligibility applies to those who purchase an eligible XM radio or tuner at participating retailers between 3/30/08 and 6/28/08, activate XM service by 7/10/08 on that radio or tuner with a credit card (a one-time activation fee applies), retain a valid credit card on the account for recurring service billing, and maintain uninterrupted service for at least six (6) months. Failure to maintain six (6) months of continuous XM service on that radio or tuner will result in a charge of $65 to the credit card on your XM service account. All mail-in rebate requests must be postmarked by 7/30/08, received by 8/13/08 and include the original UPC barcode and original Radio ID tab cut from the XM radio or tuner box, and a copy of the purchase receipt indicating the purchase of the eligible XM radio or tuner. Limit one (1) rebate per valid radio ID and three (3) per address. Purchases made from Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal*Mart, Target, Sam.s Club, Kmart, Sears, Staples, Toys .R Us, xmradio.com and through XM.s Special Promotion Programs are not eligible for this mail-in rebate. Pre-owned radios or tuners are not eligible for this rebate. Rebate not available for purchases by groups, clubs or organizations. Only purchases by an end-user consumer from a participating XM Satellite Radio dealer or retailer are eligible for this rebate. Only radios that are new and do not replace an existing radio on an account are eligible. Offer valid for purchases made in continental US only. This offer can not be combined with other offers from XM Satellite Radio. Please allow 8-10 weeks after claim is received by redemption center to receive your rebate. All rebates will be made in US dollars and mailed to US residents only.
